This library is managed and operated by volunteers working in partnership with North Yorkshire Council.
The library is situated in the Limestone View extra care housing facility, a five minute walk from the marketplace, next to Greenfoot car park and opposite the Rugby Club. Settle is served by a regular bus service and a train station is nearby.
Free parking is available at Limestone View and on-street parking is outside the library. The nearest long stay car park is Greenfoot car park, which is pay and display. A small ramp up the entrance of Limestone View allows wheelchair access.
You can borrow a range of books for all ages in a variety of formats, including large print and audio. DVDs and foreign language titles are also available for loan, as well as micro:bits. You can request any item that is not immediately available.

All welcome, however group size is limited. Contact the library to find out about joining the group. Last Wednesday of the month, 10.30am to 11.30am
The knit and natter group meets fortnightly on the first and third Thursday of the month at 10.30am.
Lego Club runs every week on Fridays in term time from 3.45pm to 5pm from October 2023.
Under 5s groups meet in the library every Friday morning at 11am. Everyone welcome. Term time only.
