Website and telephone payments Sunday 19 May
Our website and telephone payment systems are unavailable between 9am and 2pm on Sunday 19 May. You will not be able to pay for any council services on our website or over the phone during this time.
View cycle routes across the county on our online map, report a problem or view advice about requesting a new lane.
Report an issue with a cycle lane
If you prefer, you can tell us about a cycle lane issue anonymously, but you will miss out on the benefits of having an account such as getting progress updates.
Motorways and trunk roads such as the A1, A1(M), M62, A66, A66(M), A64, A168 (Dishforth to Thirsk) and A19 (north of Thirsk) must be reported to National Highways.
If it's an emergency and poses a safety risk, contact us. Out of office hours, call North Yorkshire Police on 101. If there is danger to life, call 999.
We are committed to promoting cycling as an alternative to car travel for short trips or as part of longer journeys.
Cycle lanes can be: mandatory, which are marked with solid white lines, and from which other vehicles are excluded for at least part of the day, and advisory, which are marked with broken white lines and can be used by other road users if necessary.
